Miles struggled at war with words until newspaper comic inkspots saved him from the frustration of illiteracy, as they have so many.
POW! Pen and ink pictures became his life's passion!
In 1990 at CalArts' School of Film, Character Animation program he animated some filthy festival favorite films before working 30 years as a generalist in TV and movie production. Miles lived and loved the pencil on paper days, having done a bit of everything in the sunset years of a 100 year old genius genre, moving pictures. Books, and art, have always been a private garden of promise, a place of discovery, inspiration, and
personal hope for him, a tradition, a treasure, and a gift.

Telling a timeless tale is a great art, like serving an old family recipe, or discovering and dividing treasure, or performing a magic trick to touch imaginations with love, hope, and belief that the impossible is indeed possible for everyone, everywhere, always.
